Terms of use
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms cover your use of GoalPath, operated by Akshay Ravikumar. If your school district has a separate agreement with us (such as a student data privacy agreement), that agreement takes priority where the two differ.
Who can use it
GoalPath is for school district staff and for the parents or guardians a school invites. You may use it only with an invitation, only with your own account, and only for the students you are connected to.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account to yourself, and tell your school or us if you think someone else has used it.
- Enter information accurately, and only what is needed for the student's goals.
- Treat what you see as confidential student information: don't copy, share or post it outside the school team and family.
- Don't try to access students, accounts or data you weren't given access to, or interfere with the service.
Student information
Student information belongs to the school district and is handled as described in our privacy policy. Scores read from photos are filled in automatically and may contain mistakes, so staff should check them. Days that may need a second look are marked for review.
Access can be changed
The district decides who has access, and can change roles or turn off accounts at any time. We may suspend access to protect students' information or the service.
No warranty
We work to keep GoalPath accurate, secure and available, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It supports, and does not replace, the professional judgment of school staff or the official records the district keeps.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of GoalPath. This does not limit any obligations we have to a district under a signed agreement or under student privacy laws.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will let districts know before it takes effect.
